Isn't it amazing that something that is such a big part of our daily lives is not taught to us in school? As a result, most people learned about managing money through trial and error, and in some cases, no matter how hard we tried, we still made errors! As grown-ups, we have either adopted our beliefs around money from our parents or perhaps decided that we would do the complete opposite!
Either way, most people will agree that the need for financial education is very important and the younger we can teach our future generations good money habits, the more choices they will have and the less mistakes they will make.
Although many people think that learning about finances may not be the most exciting topic, we believe that with the right approach, it can actually be FUN. Through our innovative FUNancial Education programs, children and adults will discover “the language of money” through accelerated learning techniques using experiential, fun, interactive games and activities that simplify complex financial concepts.
Our mission is to bring the FUN back into finances and deliver financial education to children and adults in as many schools, daycares, camps and any other establishments and organizations, so that they can develop good money habits that will provide them with more CHOICES. Part of the proceeds from the programs will also be put towards a FUNancial Education Fund which will allow us to deliver these programs to underprivileged children in different communities.
After graduating from Concordia University with an Applied Math degree and moved out on his own, he quickly realized that managing money was not as simple as it seemed growing up under the shelter of his parent's frugal ways. As he struggled and learned how to manage his money, he became aware that many friends and family were also having the same challenges and some even declared bankruptcy as they had amassed huge amounts of consumer debt.
